The Afghan Human Rights Organisation (AHRO) is an independent, non-profitable, campaign, research, humanitarian and advocacy organisation which is commited in helping to promote and develop basic respect and responsibility for human rights' dignity, value and principles within the Afghan communities.
The AHRO aims are to protect, promote and enforce human rights' culture through the use of international, comparative and Islamic laws to safeguard the quality of life for the Afghan communities based on individual's respect and dignity.
We plan to achieve these aims through a range of cultral and educational activities designed to strengthen human rights' standards for Afghan people whose rights have been violated during the three decades of international, regional and civil wars by warlords, armed groups, and the governments and non-government’s institutions.
We campaign, lobby, and advocate a range of activities designed to promote and develop respect and responsibility for better understanding of human rights' values often through developing standards with the best practice, based on equality, dignity and respect upon international and comparative human right laws within the Afghan communities.
The AHRO's main goal is to be the leader in protection and promotion of human rights' principles through a establishment of effective working relationships, partnerships, co-operation and coordination with all human right Institutions and to campaign for justice for all people regardless of their racial, confessional or political background.
